1. Introduction
Welcome to NKR ROADLINES. By utilizing our transportation, fleet, logistics, bus rental, or lorry consignment services, or by accessing this portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. Bookings and Consignments
- All booking requests submitted online are subject to vehicle availability, route feasibility, and official confirmation.
- For chemical and petro product shipments, consignors must provide accurate Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), declarations, and legal transit permits prior to dispatch.
- Weights, dimensions, and package counts indicated on the Lorry Receipt (LR) are binding unless disputed in writing at the time of loading.
3. Rates, Taxes, and Payments
- Quotations and tariff schedules exclude GST and statutory tolls unless explicitly stated. GST will be levied at the prevailing statutory rates.
- Payment terms are strictly as agreed in the contract or invoice. For credit accounts, payments must be remitted within the credit period (default 30 days). Late balances are subject to statutory interest.
4. Liability and Transit Insurance
- While NKR ROADLINES maintains standard carrier liability and adheres to the highest safety and regulatory protocols, consignors are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive transit insurance for declared value of goods.
- NKR ROADLINES shall not be held liable for delays or damages arising from force majeure, natural disasters, state-wide road blockages, or unpreventable regulatory detentions.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and all carriage contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
